GigGizmo does not provide an editor for individual shows. The Shows page displays the future show dates in a table with the start time, stop time, and venue.
Correct a Show
If a venue, date, or time is wrong, remove the incorrect show and add it again with the correct information.
- Log in to WordPress and open Shows.
- Find the incorrect show in the table.
- Select the checkbox beside that show.
- Select Remove Selected.
- Select Add New.
- Choose the venue and enter the correct date, start time, and stop time.
- Select Submit.
Cancel or Remove a Show
GigGizmo does not have a cancellation option or a cancellation status.
- Open Shows.
- Find the show that should be removed.
- Select the checkbox beside it.
- Select Remove Selected.
- Check the public schedule to make sure it is gone.
If the canceled show was already promoted, announce the cancellation through the same newsletter, social-media account, ticket page, or other place where the audience originally saw it.
Do Not Delete the Venue
Removing one show does not remove the venue. Leave the venue page in place unless the venue entry itself is a duplicate or should no longer be used. Other shows may depend on it.
Final Check
Refresh the public schedule and confirm that the correct show was removed. If you added a corrected version, check the venue, date, start time, and stop time again.
